PureGold [RE]Mastered presents: Marlowe

  • The Albany Douglas Way England, SE8 4AG United Kingdom (map)

Join MMus Popular Music student Marlowe (Ivan Figueria Perdomo) at The Albany for their final masters performance.

The show is an exploration of persona, desires and disappointments through Pop Art. Dancy grooves, loud up-beat music that deals with excess and what it means to be reckless from a working-class perspective. Expect glitter, bright lights and mayhem. For fans of Lady Gaga, Prince and Lorde.

Marlowe is originally from Venezuela but now resides in London. Marlow focuses on raw, confessional lyrics that aim to be storytelling and empowering. In 2023, they performed multiple live shows across London including headline gigs at O2 Academy Islington and Camden Assembly. With their upcoming album 'SUBMISSIVE", Marlowe is hoping to continue to captivate listeners with their fun-filled blend of dance floor-filling electro-pop.
