This programme features a chamber orchestra led by MMus Creative Practice student Carmen Wang, to perform 7 original modern classical pieces inspired by 7 contemporary artworks. The compositions are stylistically influenced by post-minimalism music, especially modern composers like Philip Glass, John Adams, Morton Feldman, Steve Reich and Arvo Pärt. The concert runs approximately 40 minutes, and the chamber orchestra ensemble consists of fellow students from Goldsmiths.
